Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal to provide a chance for a better future for families in Nicaragua. The people of Nicaragua have been on my heart for many years. I was sad when I first learned of their many challenges of poor nutrition, poor water quality, high unemployment, political instability and many other issues. Millions of dollars of aid have been poured into Nicaragua by big name foundations, but it seems that little trickles down to the point of need. Non-profit organizations like Strong Harvest are an efficient way to get your donations to where they are needed most, to families in struggling communities.
This will be my third trip with Strong Harvest, but my first trip to Nicaragua, and I can't wait to make new friends there.
The $2,450 covers team expenses like accommodations, transportation while in Nicaragua, food, training materials, airfare, etc. Any funds raised beyond my needs will go towards Strong Harvest's work in Nicaragua. Our team will be in Nicaragua from July 18-29, 2019. If you wish to be involved financially, we would be grateful indeed.
